Xiaomi's Redmi 9C device is now available in SA

Xiaomi has announced that its Redmi 9C will be available to purchase in South Africa

The device features a 6.53-inch HD+ display and is powered by a powerful 5000mAh battery.

The Redmi 9C also features a triple-lens main camera, a 5MP selfie camera with a rear fingerprint sensor and face unlock functionality.

The smartphone will come in two variants: a version with 32GB of storage and 2GB of RAM, and a version with 64GB of storage and 3GB of RAM.

RAM: 2GB/3GB
Battery: 5000mAh
Main camera: 13MP main lens + 2MP macro lens + 2MP depth lens
Selfie camera: 5MP
On-board storage: 32GB/64GB

The phone willl be available to purchase from the 9th of September from Mobile in Africa (Xiaomi’s local distributor) and Hi-Online, as well as other retailers such as Takelot and Incredible Connection.

The 32GB version of the Redmi 9C has a price of R2 399, while the 64GB version will retail for R2 599.
