Users will soon be able to share their WhatsApp status directly to Facebook
CAPE TOWN – Whatsapp may soon add another share option to its app that will allow users to share their status updates drirectly to Facebook.
This is according to a report by WaBetaInfo, once a user adds a status on Whatsapp they can then use the “Add to Facebook Story” featue.
However, Wabeta notes that the feature will not automatically share any statuses, as manual authorisation from the user will be needed.
The feature is under development and there is no official statement as to when it will be released.
WaBetainfo said: "When tapped, you will be redirected to Facebook to share your story.
Using this option, WhatsApp will allow to post your status updates on Facebook, that contain images, videos, GIFs and text."
