
UberEats now available in Soweto

CAPE TOWN – Uber announced that its food delivery service Uber Eats will now be available in Soweto.
The company added that it will also be adding a new form of delivery which is by using bicycles other than the usual cars and motorbikes.
The company said in a statement: “In another first for Soweto, Uber Eats will offer local residents the chance to deliver food using a bicycle, with the peace of mind safety is a top priority thanks to offering Injury Protection."
Users can order food from the service between 10 am and 10 pm daily using the app.
In addition to Soweto, the service also operates in Bloemfontein, Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg, Paarl, Pietermaritzburg, Pretoria, Port Elizabeth, and Stellenbosch.
