Telkom launches new data deal in SA

CAPE TOWN – Telkom on Monday launched a new "Big Deal" for April stating that it is the "best data deal" in South Africa.
Telkom said on its website: "Buckle up for April’s Big deal, because it’s a biggie. More of everything you love to do in one incredible package. The FreeMe 20GB Big Deal is a SIM-only special, meaning you only pay R499 month-to-month."
According to the company, the deal is a FreeMe 20GB SIM-only offer which is available as a month-to-month deal with other features included.
Here are the features included:
- 20GB Anytime Data
- 1,500 All-Network Minutes
- 3,000 Telkom Minutes
- 50GB Streaming (Netflix, Showmax, YouTube)
- 10GB Music Streaming (Apple Music, Simfy)
- 2GB Instant Messaging (WhatsApp)
- Price – R499 per month
Telkom stated that users have the option of selecting a month-to-month SIM-only package, or take the deal as a contract and add a device.
The company said that the FreeMe deal is only available until 30 April 2019 and users must purchase it in-store.
Telkom advised customers to specify that they want the FreeMe promotion for April when purchasing the deal.
