Spotify tests Premium Duo subscription

CAPE TOWN – Spotify launched on its website, a test subscription called Premium Duo that offers you two Premium subscriptions for the discounted price of €12.49 (R198) a month. 

The company said on its website: "With two separate accounts you can both enjoy your own music without having to take turns."

“It comes preloaded with songs based on genres, artists, and songs that you both have played on your own and updates the more you play."

In South Africa, Spotify Premium will cost you R59.99 but the company is not yet testing nor has it made the duo subscription available in SA. 

Spotify is currently testing Premium Duo across five markets which is Colombia, Chile, Denmark, Ireland, and Poland.

The company is yet to announce whether or not it has plans to keep the subscription and release it to the rest of the world.
