
Samsung may launch a new foldable flip phone, the Galaxy Z Flip

Samsung starts the new year off on the rumour radar as it will be apparently be bringing back the flip phone trend with a device that is similar to Motorola’s new RAZR .
A report by renowned leaker Ice Universe (@UniverseIce), it states that the device will be called the Galaxy Z Flip.
The Z Flip is a clamshell-style foldable that is inspired by a woman’s makeup compact from French cosmetics juggernaut, Lancôme, according to an article by SamMobile.
Samsung’s Z Flip is expected to have 8K video recording capabilities, like the Galaxy S20 series, and is rumoured to be using a folding glass display instead of the plastic polymer found on the Galaxy Fold.
According to a report by LetsGoDigital, the device is also rumored to feature aa Snapdragon 855 chipset and support some kind of super-fast charging for the dual-battery setup.
