
Nokia launches new C1 device in SA, available for only R999

HMD Global announced that it will be bringing one of its most affordable devices called the Nokia C1 to South Africa.
The new device features a glass-covered 5.45-inch display, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, the phone is also powered by a quad-core chipset.
It also comes with a 2500mAh removal battery and a 5MP camera at the front and back.
Nokia has employed Android 9.0 Pie Go Edition — Google’s lightweight phone OS — to power the phone, which also means lightweight Google apps are preinstalled, including Gallery Go and Assistant Go.
The Nokia C1 supports 3G networks, has a built-in FM radio, and has support for Bluetooth 4.2 and A-GPS.
The device will be available in the colours: black and red.
Customers can purchase through MTN at the price of R999.
