In addition to this grocery haul, customers can also enjoy 54th birthday Price Drop savings of up to 30% across a wide range of products, including TVs, laptops, air fryers, braai stands, and whiskeys. Shoppers who turn 54 during July or August stand a chance to win a gift voucher valued at R1000.

To be eligible to win, customers must be present in a Makro store on the Saturdays of the birthday campaign between 11 am and 2 pm.

They must be one of the first two customers in the store to reach reception when the announcer makes the call for those turning 54 in the months of July and August to come to reception to receive the R1,000 gift card prize.

Customers will have to present a valid South African ID showing their birth date at the time of purchase and a till slip. Terms and conditions apply. Offer ends on 30th August 2025.
