
Fisher Price baby sleeper recalled after 30 infant deaths reported

CAPE TOWN - Baby-focused company Fisher-Price has reportedly recalled its sleeper for babies called the Rock 'n Play following multiple deaths of infants.
According to a report by The Washington Post, the sleeper was designed without medical safety tests and, the company only used the recommendation of one doctor to decide whether or not the product was safe.
According to a report y Business Insider, Since 2009, Fisher-Price sold 4.7 million Rock 'n Play Sleepers before being recalled after more than 30 babies died in the product.
The report further stated that the physician who Fisher-Price consulted with for the sleepers, Gary Deegear, has since lost his medical licence.
